Costco Product Safety Alert: 10’ LED Market Umbrella

It has come to our attention that there is a potential safety risk that affects some 10' LED Market Umbrellas sold through Costco Warehouses and Costco.com

 

For Now:

  • Remove the Solar Panel from the top of the umbrella
  • Store the panel out of the sun and away from combustible material
  • Do not charge the panel with the AC adapter. 

What umbrellas may be affected?


SunVilla 10' LED Market Umbrellas sold through Costco Warehouse and Costco.com from 1/1/2022 to 5/12/2022. Item numbers of these include: 2127206, 2127215, 2127250, 2127266, 2127270. 
 

Are older umbrellas affected?

No. SunVilla 10’ LED Market Umbrellas purchased prior to 1/1/2022 are not affected by this Safety Alert.
 

Are other umbrellas affected?

No other SunVilla market umbrellas or offset umbrellas are affected by the Safety Alert besides the item numbers mentioned above.
 

Can I keep using my umbrella?

Once the solar panel is removed per the instructions above, the umbrella can continue to be used without the solar panel and lighting function.
 

Can I get a replacement umbrella or solar panel?
